Hera and Zeus<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n

In Greek mythology, next to the king of the gods ZEUS,stands his wife , goddess HERA. One of the most respected goddesses of Greece. Daughter of Saturn and Rhea.\u00a0 The QUEEN of Olympus<\/a> protected the institution of marriage and women, whether unmarried, married or widowed. Tradition has it that the divine couple had intercourse before their marriage. ZEUS, who for a long time tried to approach her, found the opportunity once, when he saw her climbing a mountain alone. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

HE caused a storm, transformed into a cuckoo, and sat trembling at her feet. She felt sorry for the bird and immediately covered it. Immediately ZEUS took his normal form, to unite with her.At first she refused ,because she was afraid of her mother\u2019s reaction RHEA. But he succumbed when he promised her that he would marry her. Since then the cuckoo has become a cult bird of the goddess. HERA protected those who honored her, but she was cruel and vindictive, with those who did not count on her strength, or wronged the weak and defenseless.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Hera’s jealousy<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n

With particular stubbornness she chased her husband’s mistresses and illegitimate children.LITO, when she was pregnant with Apollo and Artemis, she did not let her give birth.<\/strong><\/em>
\nAnother example of her punishment was the mythical hero Hercules.<\/a> She made him pay for his whole life, the love that his father had for him.<\/strong><\/em>
\nOnce t, frustrated by his infidelities, decided to divorce him. So he fled to Evia and did not return, despite the pleas of ZEUS.But a wise king adviced zeus<\/a> ,to dress a fake bride,and spread the news everywhere,that he was getting married.<\/strong><\/em>
\nAs soon as the goddess learned of the fact, she arrived on the spot, rushed furiously to the bride to tear the veil.<\/strong><\/em>
\nWhen she understood the trick, she laughed happily and reconciled again with the king of the gods.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
