In Greek mythology,<\/a> next to the king of the gods ZEUS,stands his wife , goddess HERA . <\/a>One of the most respected goddesses of Greece. Daughter of Saturn and Rhea.Tradition has it that the divine couple had intercourse before their marriage. ZEUS, who for a long time tried to approach her, found the opportunity once, when he saw her climbing a mountain alone.<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\nHE caused a storm, transformed into a cuckoo, and sat trembling at her feet.<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\nShe felt sorry for the bird and immediately covered it. Immediately ZEUS took his normal form, to unite with her.At first she refused ,because she was afraid of her mother\u2019s reaction RHEA.<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
\nBut he succumbed when he promised her that he would marry her. Since then the cuckoo has become a cult bird of the goddess.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The QUEEN of Olympus<\/strong><\/p>\n

She protected the institution of marriage and women, whether unmarried, married or widowed.<\/strong>HERA<\/a> protected those who honored her, but she was cruel and vindictive, with those who did not count on her strength, or wronged the weak and defenseless.<\/strong><\/em><\/span>
