Greek Sword Miniature

Miniature  Greek sword .

Handmade entirely of bronze.

Their designs represent ancient greek swords. The sword a.k.a. ksifos, was an ancient greek  battle weapon. It was the main weapon in combination with the spear and the shield(hoplo). it was used in both vertical and horizontal strikes. The classical sword was a double-edged sword with a blade 50-60 cm long, while the spartans used smaller, 30 cm long during the persian wars.
